hannah schraven is a berlin-based poet and writer. their work settles on the intersection between poetry and visual art. in their often bilingual texts they explore topics such as sexuality, gender and body politics through the practice of poetic writing as well as transforming texts into installations, videos and soundscapes. their writings have been published in various media including 'transistor', 'manuskripte', 'das narr', '­ magazine' and 'plus X'. 2020/21 they took part in poesiefestival berlin and ZEBRA poetry film festival with a video work and were nominated for leonce-und-lena- and wolfgang-weyrauch-förderpreis 2021. lastly, they showed a performance as part of the exhibition 'art. poetry. space' at ursula blickle lab in karlsruhe. part of the poetry collective 'das ad hoc'.
